Should I be uncomfortable with my boyfriend and best friend being so close? I know how it sounds but it’s nothing like that their relationship is solely a brother-sister type bond I just feel like as we get older they’ll somehow end up liking each other and do something behind my back but at the same time i know that wouldn’t happen it’s just a thought that occurred to me and now I can’t stop thinking about it. Should I be worried? Should I set boundaries? I don’t want to be THAT I, I love and trust both of them
Our advice:
You should 100% set boundaries if you feel it’s necessary. Sometimes people aren’t aware they’re overstepping until you let them know. So whether you tell your best friend or your bf just explain how you feel. It might be easier to tell your boyfriend only because he’s in the relationship and he might set those boundaries better and since you trust your best friend you wouldn’t want her to think that you don’t. Just be careful that you don’t give off the wrong impression or come off like you don’t trust them. Small boundaries doesn’t mean you don’t trust them, it just gives you a sense of relief in your relationship.
