Meet Jasmine!
‧₊˚⪩⪨⟡˚₊‧ Blogger and Graphic Designer ‧₊˚⪩⪨⟡˚₊‧
hi guys! :) i'm jasmine and i was born and raised in california. i'm eighteen-years-old and i'm asian-american (half-viet, half-chinese). i attend a community college as a freshman and my plan is to (fingers-crossed) transfer to UCLA after two years. some things about me are my favorite drinks are dr. pepper and pink lemonade! my favorite colors are green and pink but almost everything i choose is pink. i'm both a cat and dog person but i especially have a soft spot for cats. i'm indecisive so i don't have a favorite movie, but i love the harry potter series and legally blonde. a matter of fact, if i could live in any reality, it would be in the harry potter world. a good fit ALWAYS determines how my day goes and i weirdly love working in customer service. i'm definitely an introvert but i love socializing! my newfound love for business inspired me to open a secondhand retail shop with my boyfriend (currently in the works, @rev4mpcloset on ig ;). i have always enjoyed writing. literature was my creative outlet and escape, whether that be reading someone else's work or making my own. i'm non-confrontational, so to be able to express myself behind the screen is a great alternative and my own personal safe haven. design has also played an important role in my life, in many forms such as interior, fashion, and graphic. i have a keen eye for design and i love every aspect of it. so, when i first saw that girlhood was taking volunteers for the hobbies that i personally enjoy, i decided to take a leap of faith and apply. girlhood allows me to be creative. even when i'm swamped with college, work, and other extracurriculars, i still choose to volunteer as a blogger and graphic designer because it's an excuse to do what i love. one of my favorite things about being a part of girlhood is that my works are being shared to the world. my input actually matters and is appreciated by many others. as a little girl, i always dreamt of making a difference in the world through social media. girlhood gives me that chance :)
